10 – Advanced Working Pattern
Advanced mode is used to change a user’s working pattern part way through a leave year and to prevent any retrospective changes to their working pattern being made.
Understanding what will change
Any changes that you make to the working pattern once a user has been set up, won’t affect the leave allowance for that user. The Leave Allowance calculation is only made at when a user is added to the LeavePlanner system. Once you have set up a user, any leave allowance adjustments will need to be made manually.
How to make the changes
In order to change the working pattern correctly, you will need to go to ‘User Admin’ > ‘Manage Users’ > select the user and choose the ‘Working Pattern’ tab. Here you can choose ‘Switch to advanced mode’
Now you can ‘Define a new period’
Set the date from which you want the period to start
And make any adjustments that you need to
When you have made the necessary changes to the working pattern click save at the top of the page.
